January and February Activities

Penguins

 

 During January, the students read expository text about Penguins and created a Penguin addition art project.

The students have been learning how to write a How-To for their writing portfolio, so we decided to practice   writing How to Build a Snowman !

February Activities

100 days of School 

The students enjoyed making a 100 day treat!

 The students were asked to use their imagination and create art using the numbers 100.

The students also imagined how they would look when they turn 100 , and  wrote a 100 year old Bucket List.

Valentine's Day

The students completed a Valentine's Family project for the friendship exchange. Their Valentine'e boxes turn out really awesome!

The students also graphed Valentine's conversation heart candy.
